Login problems

Hey Maverick: a friend who has played the game before wishes to do so this year but has been having trouble accessing their account. They used the "forgot password" link and when they tried it (which was the one they were using) they got the same error:
"The site, you wanted to open, requires an user identification.
Your user ID does not fit to your user name.
This situation can occur by clicking the 'Back' button of the browser after the login.
Please try to login again.
If the problem was caused by a different action, please send an e-mail with a description to the e-mail address purefantasyf1@gmx.net.
PFRL.net will try to solve the problem.
Thank you very much for your help"

I checked the account and login for struns and it worked fine for me.
Maybe it could be a browser cache issue. He could try to reload the site with [STRG][F5] - (Internet Explorer). If possible, he should try a different browser.
It's a problem which is new to me. Hope the browser hints are helpful.
