whats about the disqualification of grosjean? he isnt listed in the official results. i claim a new evaluation of this race. it would be fair to correct this. 2 years ago i didnt reach the eleminator final because "the official results were used for pfrl"

He was clearly disqualified yesterday before we get the points here.

the race-winner would be the same. i think he would not worry about it.

It is not stated exactly like that, but the actual rule leaves little room for ambiguity:

"The scores are calculated after the chequered flag or after the end of the Qualifying from an official web site. Changes after the race because of disqualifications or something like that do not have any influences on the PFRL results."

A change prior to the post-race database update but after results have been posted on the "official web site" would still count as "changes after the race."

The Monaco 2006 qualifying result, in which Michael Schumacher kept his pole position here despite the real-life penalty for parking his car on the track (imposed later on Saturday night) was quite controversial at the time, but the rules were the same then and were enforced as such.

Rule 5.1 under "Scoring" clearly states that disqualifications/penalties after the end of a race (or qualifying session) will not affect the PFRL result. The first results posted from the official source will be what stands.

It's as fair a policy as any, as appeals can change a result well after a race, when the resulting changes in component valuations may be infeasible to execute. I suppose an arbitrary time limit could be imposed for penalties to count, but then it would be an issue of just how long we should wait for inquiries to be resolved...
