Finnish conspiration?

Recently Maverick mentioned something hilarious in an e-mail to me that I'd like to talk about here. As you probably know, one of the innovations of the new season is that the drivers were allowed to choose their car numbers:
Kimi Räikkönen (FIN) chose no. 7
Valtteri Bottas (FIN) chose no. 77
So, will the real 777 (FIN) please stand up and tell us what conspiration is going on and in which direction what kind of money flows?

Ah yes, that was a nice gesture from the boys to mark my career and add little hype to this first full season under the new name (PFRL) and regulations. Too bad they were'n allowed three digit numbers...
No money changing pockets, no magic numbers in Finnish mythology, just a tribute!

These were exactly my thoughts. Maybe 7 is a specific number in Finland and 777 reflects therefore the maximum of this specificity.
